Install — one command

Open PowerShell (no admin needed), paste this line and press Enter. It downloads all six parts, joins them, checks SHA-256, installs to %LOCALAPPDATA%\HmmSearch, drops a Desktop shortcut and launches the browser.

Why a script instead of a single .exe? The build is 104 MB split into 18 MB parts so each file stays well under the 25 MB per-file limit. The script fetches them in order, joins them into HmmSearch.zip, aborts loudly if the SHA-256 does not match, then expands and launches. Add -NoLaunch to install without starting it.

Manual install

  1. Download all six .part0N files plus SHA256.txt into one folder.
  2. Join them — in cmd:
    copy /b HmmSearch.zip.part01+HmmSearch.zip.part02+HmmSearch.zip.part03+HmmSearch.zip.part04+HmmSearch.zip.part05+HmmSearch.zip.part06 HmmSearch.zip
    in PowerShell 7: Get-ChildItem .\HmmSearch.zip.part* | Get-Content -AsByteStream -Raw | Set-Content HmmSearch.zip -AsByteStream
    on macOS / Linux: cat HmmSearch.zip.part* > HmmSearch.zip
  3. Check: Get-FileHash .\HmmSearch.zip -Algorithm SHA256 must equal the hash above.
  4. Expand HmmSearch.zip — it contains a HmmSearch-win32-x64 folder.
  5. Run HmmSearch.exe from inside that folder.
